Polar Film

Festival

I created this poster, with my internship with ChristchurchNZ. The poster was shown on busses, handed out at the University of Canterbury, and hung up at Hollywood Cinema.

They wanted it to have a modern, polar feel, and for the consumer to recognise straight away the festival was for films about the Antarctic.

​

It was the first time these movies have been seen outside of New York, so it was quite an accomplishment to be able to design the poster.

​

I placed the photo strip on the side to mimic an old film strip, but not in an obvious way, I wanted it to be subtle.
